C1 Clearance ยท Octogle Technologies
Hi Sam, hi Dan โ everything for the Lead Centre lives here, newest at the top. Sam's answers are in and the app now runs on them: your job stages, your job types, the 30-minute clock and the real plan for the numbers. Start with the 16 September page. The sign-in page, the questions and the admin view need the access code the Octogle Team sent you.
The phones are wired in. One thirty-second job left, and five questions for you.
The settings are on the server, the webhook is live, and the Lead Centre is ready to receive calls, voicemail and texts. Seven of the nine steps are done. One is yours and it takes half a minute: ring 0333 091 3602 and hang up, and we will confirm the lead landed properly. Also inside: what the tester found across two rounds — twenty-five of the twenty-six fixed, and the one that is not — the problem we caught that would have put nineteen invented customers back into your inbox next week, and five questions — the test call, one decision about a phone screen, the WhatsApp yes or no, call recording, the shared Aircall account and the sign-in password.
A tester found 21 things. They're all fixed and live. Plus the one serious thing we caught in your Aircall account โ and the short list of what's now with you.
Everything we can do without you is done โ one ten-minute job is now the only thing between you and the first real lead. Inside: the three things we need from you, in order. The 21 fixes, in plain English โ buttons that did the opposite of their label, every time an hour out, the page running off the side of a normal laptop, and the Numbers screen telling you a channel was live when nothing was connected. And the one worth reading properly: your Aircall account also carries three other businesses' numbers, and their callers would have landed in your inbox. Found and fixed before anything was switched on.
Dan asked about the landline, WhatsApp and the leads that aren't showing. All of it answered in one page.
The short version: none of the channels are switched on yet, so the Lead Centre is still showing
demo data. That's why the form leads aren't in there โ they were never being sent to it, and nothing
has been lost. Inside: where 0330 133 9144 actually is and what it's waiting on, why WhatsApp
means a new number and not logging into a handset (07440 517077 stays on Dan's phone),
why the website form leads went elsewhere and how quickly that's fixed, a table of every way a lead
can arrive and which of them are live, and the one real gap โ email.
Sam answered on Tuesday. Everything he told us is now built and live โ here's what changed, and the shorter list that's left.
The shorter list, as boxes you type into โ same as last time, it saves as you go. Eleven questions, each with why we're asking underneath. Two hold up the switch-on: ten minutes with your Aircall admin, and a yes on the WhatsApp number, which has to be its own bill rather than going on the Aircall account. Then four quick ones (including whether "Job Complicated" meant Job Completed, and where the alarm should ring if enquiries ever stop arriving), two we'll sort the moment you tell us โ what the website is built in, and what hello@ runs on โ and one that costs a few pounds a month, about keeping your own copies of the photos.
Your stages and job types are what the app runs on now โ New Lead through to Job Complete, with Lost and Job Issues off to the side, and Invoiced and Paid dropped since you invoice elsewhere. The 30-minute clock is running and it ignores weekends. Numbers & Routing shows your real plan โ 0330 forwarding to Aircall then porting across, the van's number left well alone. Website form fills can come straight in, once someone tells us what the site is built in. Photos sent over WhatsApp now stay put instead of being thrown away, recordings with them, and the app will raise the alarm if enquiries ever stop arriving. Plus the few bits still sitting with you, including one thing about the WhatsApp bill that needs a quick yes.
Built, deployed and running on demo data. Sign in and have a look, then tell us the bits only you know.
The app is up and you can use it now. The sign-in details for you and Dan are on this page โ they're locked with the same access code, so only you two can read them. Also on it: what's done (the app, the demo data, automatic testing and deployment), why nothing real can arrive until the Aircall settings are in, and what's still to build. Everything in it is made-up data โ no real customer, no real job.
Sam filled this in on 16 September โ thank you. It stays here so you can see what
you told us, and change anything you want to. What we did with it is on the page above. The questions
were: whether 0330 133 9144 is moving to Aircall or the
Aircall number is a new one (if it's new, the number on the van is wrong from day one), and a yes to the
separate WhatsApp number. Then the setup detail โ Aircall admin, business details, the real staff
list, where the jobs come from โ and the things we guessed from the design: the job stages, the job
types, the ringing hours, call recording, and which of email, the website form and Statto CRM are
actually real.
Newest first. The 15 September papers are the current ones โ anything below them is history.
The whole picture in one read. Six things from Sam, four from Dan, and the two we're still waiting on. Plus WhatsApp without Facebook โ three ways to do it now Sam has ruled the Facebook route out, with what each costs and the one offer to say no to; what's changed since the last pack (no Facebook route, the van stays as it is, a new separate number instead); the eight things we guessed from the design and want checking; what we still have to build, stated plainly; and the seven steps from your answers to go-live. There's a PDF of it below.
The same one, as a PDF for printing or forwarding.
The longer version of the same list, item by item: what each thing is, why we need it and where it comes from, with the seven blocking items called out and a note on why nothing real can arrive until the Aircall credentials are set.
What each one costs, what it gets you, and where each one bites. Our pick is at the top: buy a new number now (about ยฃ45 a month, and you never touch Facebook), then once you've seen it working with real enquiries, put a sticker over the van's QR panel so the van feeds the app too. Includes the 1 October 2026 Meta price change โ replying to someone who messaged you first is free today and about 4p a reply after that โ with every price quoted after October so nothing jumps on you later.
The note that made the plan smaller, after Dan said the van's QR code had brought in two enquiries in
eight months: leave the van alone, don't touch 07440 517077, and put the effort where the
work actually comes from. Superseded by the 15 September papers above โ the costs and
the WhatsApp route have moved on since. There's a PDF of it below.
The same note as a PDF.
One Lead Centre โ every enquiry from WhatsApp, the office line, email, the website form and the van's QR code landing on a single record. Three pages: what it is, what it looks like, and whether it's actually buildable. Written before Dan's QR figures and before Sam ruled out the Facebook route, so the WhatsApp plan in the feasibility page has since changed โ the 15 September papers above are the current ones.
The pitch in one scroll. Today two numbers sit in two places with no shared memory:
WhatsApp on a Lycamobile SIM in a van, and the office line 0330 133 9144. Photos of a garage
full of stuff live on one handset, so nobody else can quote from them; a missed call at 07:14 leaves no
trace. After: five ways in, one record โ WhatsApp, calls, email, website form and
Meta/Google ads all matched on phone number, with photos treated as the primary content of the lead.
Includes a live animated feed, the number that actually decides the job (speed to first reply), the
six-week sequence, running cost, and the six things needed to start.
The product itself, mobile-first โ tap through it as if it were live. The unified inbox with every channel in one list, a lead record with the enquiry photos, postcode, access notes and volume estimate pinned to the top, the pipeline stages built around how a clearance job really runs, and the reply flow. Best opened on a phone. Interface concept โ the figures inside are a demonstration, not live data.
Verdict: buildable โ with three changes to the original plan. (1) Don't port the WhatsApp number โ WhatsApp is tied to the number, not the SIM, and the number is printed inside the QR code on the van, so a failed re-verification is a re-wrap, not a settings change; Meta's Coexistence route brings it in on its existing SIM with the chat history intact. (2) A divert carries calls, not WhatsApp โ the two are separate jobs. (3) Six weeks, not 21 days โ Aircall's own docs for UK ports, but the divert makes recording live in week one. Plus the three-asset ledger, what Coexistence costs you in features, running costs including the 1 October 2026 Meta pricing change, an 8-row risk ledger and the compliance points on call recording.
